Common Questions

What does Forma Homes specialize in?

Kitchens, bathrooms, whole-home remodels, additions, ADUs, and ground-up new builds. Most of our jobs combine more than one. A kitchen also touches the dining room. A bathroom triggers electrical and plumbing rework. A whole-home pulls in every trade we run. One team coordinates all of it.

What areas of LA do you serve?

Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Bel Air, Santa Monica, Hancock Park, Los Feliz, Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Manhattan Beach, Pasadena, and most of the Westside, Valley, Hills, and South Bay. We have dedicated pages for 40 LA neighborhoods.

How much does a remodel cost in Los Angeles?

Depends on scope. Kitchens run $35K for a cosmetic refresh up to $400K+ for full custom. Bathrooms run $35K to $200K+. Whole-home remodels start at $150K and go to $2M+ for bigger builds. After a site walk we give you a real itemized number, not a "starts at" tease.

How long does a typical remodel take?

Kitchen and bathroom remodels run 8 to 14 weeks of construction once permits are issued. Whole-home remodels run 6 to 14 months. Add 4 to 12 weeks before construction for design, selections, and permits. HPOZ neighborhoods and hillside lots usually sit at the longer end of that range.

Do you handle permits?

Yes. LADBS, City of Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Pasadena, Coastal Commission, HPOZ, HOA. Whichever applies to your lot. Permitting is included in the contract. No surprise fee, no "design-permit add-on" line item later.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Forma Homes is a licensed California contractor (CSLB #1140511) with full general liability and workers' compensation coverage. Every job we run is permitted and inspected.
